There is a local soy sauce factory in North District (Hong Kong) called Yuet Wo. It is located in Sheung Shui Kwu Tung. Using the most traditional way to produce soy sauce, chinese wine, vinegar etc. It costs a half of year to produce a bottle of soy sauce. 香港仲有本土醬園㗎! 豉油係每個香港人每日都幾乎會食或者用嘅醬料,但至於豉油點整,你又知唔知呢? 位於上水古洞石仔嶺的悅和醬園是本港獨有自置蒸釀酒房的醬園,自1945起生產各類酒、醋、豉油及各類調味品給一眾香港廣大市民。一直採用天然生曬嘅方式,釀製豉油、各種醬料和醋等30種醬料。 以古法釀製的豉油,由將黃豆煮熟到發酵起至成豉油為止,足足需要六個月嘅時間,每瓶醬油嘅出產可謂充滿著醬園一班老師傅的汗水同心血。
